Whitehaven Kiwanis is a member of Kiwanis Division 1c. Ourselevs and our sister clubs serve the communities of Memphis and Shelby County Tennessee.
The Louisiana-Mississippi District was organized in January, 1920. In November, 1938, the western part of Tennessee was added to create the Louisiana-Mississippi-West Tennesse District. The nearly 5,000 members of the District, and their 141 clubs are committed to developing future generations of leaders through guidance and example. They are ordinary people, performing extraordinary work in their communities every day.
The Kiwanis Club of Whitehaven is a community service organization that has served the Whitehaven community for over 50 years. We presently have several service projects directed toward the benefit of young children and the greater community. A few of our projects are weekly donation collection for the Comission on Missing and Exploited Childern (COMEC), advisors to the Key Club at Whitehaven High School, Terrific Kids at Robert R. Church Elementary School and others.
